Silken Chenille - 100% Silk.
A beautiful 'flat' chenille rather than a 'round' chenille, hand dyed in a range of beautiful solids and multi-colors. As chenille can be a 'tender' thread, especially at the eye of the needle we suggest stitching with shorter lengths (about 18"). A beautiful thread for surface couching, wool applique, needlepoint - it also makes stunning spider web roses, colonial knots among many other applications. Best used on 13 ct fabric with short lengths and large eyed needle. Skeins are 20 yards.
