FOR ALL VERSIONS
1/4 yd fusible fleece (batting)
14” zipper, dress weight, non-separable (match colour with binding fabric)
masking tape
tweezers (optional)

Lace Trim Version
1 FQ fabric
20” lace trim, approx 1/2” wide

Patchwork Version
1 mini charm pack or assorted 2” squares
1 FQ contrast fabric for binding and ends
1 FQ lining

This sweet little case really shouldn't be called a "pencil" case. It can organize and keep so many other things - sewing notions, cosmetics, arts & craft supplies, purse junk, children's toys ...

The pattern includes 2 options:

• patchwork - 2" squares to make the body
• lace trim - adds a pretty detail along the zipper

Oh, and about the zipper. It isn't scary ... really it isn't! There are even 35 step-by-step photographs in this pattern to help you out.
