Graduated Premium Throat / Needle Plate 221 - Featherweight Shop

Is your throat plate plain with no marking lines? Are you using tape to set your seam allowance? Would you like to have something accurately marked? 

This is the new and improved graduated throat plate we're proud to put on your Featherweight! It is marked with engraved seam guides of 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4" for quick and easy reference. 

Machined in Italy exclusively for The Featherweight Shop, it is engineered with manufacturing tolerances noticeably tighter than other reproduction plates on the market—so it seats cleanly and fits precisely where it should. It also uses your machine's own throat plate screws to fasten down snug.

A quick note on installation. This plate uses the positioning block from your original throat plate. Simply unscrew the block from your old plate and transfer it to this new one, then fasten the plate down with your same screws. The throat plate does not include the positioning plate block or brackets and screws, but if you happen to need those, they're available separately. All it takes is a screwdriver; we recommend the Wera Mid-Length Maintenance Screwdriver.
