We’ve restocked many of your favourite colours and added some new ones, giving you even more options to mix into quilts, backgrounds, and colourful projects.

Summer’s in Town is filled with cheerful colours and sweet prints. We selected a few favourites from the collection — the classic plaids, a tiny floral, and a playful circle print — perfect for adding a light, summery touch!

Sew + Tell: Marilyn’s Low Volume Trentham Quilt
We’re so excited to share this beautiful quilt by Marilyn — her low-volume version of the Trentham Quilt. The palette is soft, subtle, and quiet, yet still wonderfully playful, and truly reflects Marilyn’s own style.
With her help, we’ve created a Low Volume Starter Pack to help you begin your own version. Use it as a starting point and mix in fabrics from your own stash to make it uniquely yours. See where the process takes you!
The starter pack includes approximately 4 metres of fabric. The book Gathered by Jen Kingwell, along with additional fabrics, backing, and binding, is sold separately.

Sew + Tell: Lesley’s Wensleydale Quilt Blocks
Have you ever tried foundation paper piecing? It’s a completely different way to sew, and once you get the hang of it, it can be a little addictive!
Lesley has been giving it a go with the Wensleydale blocks by Jen Kingwell, from her first Quilt Recipes Book. By looking at her beautiful blocks, it looks like she’s enjoying the process! We are currently out of stock of the papers, but if you’re interested in the Wensleydale Pattern, we do currently have the acrylic templates in stock!

Grandma’s Flower Garden in Liberty & Tilda
I just got this quilt back from Laila, freshly longarmed, and it brightened up the shop on a dreary winter day! Using the free Grandma’s Flower Garden Quilt Pattern by Krista Moser, along with Liberty Tana Lawn and Tilda chambrays, the hexie flowers just pop beautifully together.
A little tip: I used the Creative Grids Mini 60° Ruler to make cutting faster and more precise. Create your own, have fun arranging the flowers, and watch your quilt bloom!
