Pre-Order: Legendary by Tula Pink
One of our biggest highlights this week is the upcoming Legendary collection by Tula Pink, now available for preorder in our shop. Celebrating 20 years of Tula Pink’s iconic design journey, Legendary is inspired by a world of imagination and myth—featuring magical creatures like unicorns, dragons, phoenixes, and more. It’s a collection all about creativity without limits, bold colour, and storytelling through fabric.
We are carrying this collection in quilting cotton, along with a limited selection of cotton lawns, and two 108” Wideback options —perfect for those wanting to create standout quilts, bags, or statement garment pieces.
Preorders are now open on our website, with delivery expected in October 2026.
Preorder Policy Reminder:
All preorder items will ship once they arrive in the store. If your order includes both in-stock and preorder items, everything will ship together when the preorder arrives. If you would like your in-stock items sooner, we recommend placing two separate orders—one for in-stock products and one for preorders.

New: Mystic Fable Canvas by Alexia Marcelle Abegg
We’re loving the beautiful Mystic Fable Canvas by Alexia Marcelle Abegg for Ruby Star Society—a collection that feels playful, whimsical, and full of storybook charm.
Inspired by dreamy fairy tales and nostalgic fables, this line brings together quirky, imaginative prints with that signature Ruby Star Society personality we adore. It’s fun, expressive, and full of creative possibilities.
One standout is the Big Apple print, available in two colourways, and it’s absolutely irresistible—bold, playful, and full of character.
With its medium-weight canvas, this fabric has the perfect balance of softness and structure, making it an ideal choice for bags, home décor, cushions, and statement accessories that need durability without feeling too heavy.

New: Illinois Star & Greta Patterns by Jen Kingwell Designs
The much-anticipated Illinois Star by Jen Kingwell has arrived in the shop! This striking star design can be made using either a Postcard Template or Foundation Paper Piecing (100-sheet pad), giving you options depending on your sewing style.
A modern take on a classic star block, Illinois Star is all about scrappy fabric play, bold movement, and Jen’s signature relaxed, creative approach to quilting. It’s perfect for mixing your favourite prints and building a quilt full of personality.
Techniques include foundation paper piecing for crisp precision or template piecing for a more flexible, scrappy feel—both designed to help you create beautifully detailed star blocks with ease.

Sew + Tell: Kim’s EPP Blocks
To wrap up this week’s Sew & Tell, we’re enjoying Kim’s beautiful EPP hexies! After taking our latest Skill Builder: English Paper Piecing class with Marilyn, Kim has been putting her new skills into practice—and it shows.
Her hexie blocks are precise, thoughtful, and she’s even been sharing some of the helpful tips she learned along the way. It’s always so inspiring to see skills come together like this!
