We’re very excited to share Nest, a beautiful new collection by Ghazal Razavi. We’ve been enjoying all of her collections from FIGO coming into the shop lately!
Inspired by the feeling of home, Nest is a thoughtfully designed 24-piece collection that brings a sense of comfort and calm to your sewing projects. The palette is soft and understated, featuring gentle pastels and muted tones that blend effortlessly together.

New: Twice Baked Quilt Pattern by Holly Clarke Design
Introducing Holly Clarke Design’s Twice Baked Quilt pattern - it’s a great example of that balance - structured, creative, and incredibly fun looking to make! Holly Clarke is a Canadian quilt designer, based in Winnipeg, known for her fresh, modern take on traditional quilting techniques.
Inspired by the idea of transformation (just like its name suggests), this pattern is created in two steps. It begins with half-square triangles, which are then cut and rearranged to form soft, curved shapes that add movement and interest throughout the quilt. A great introduction to curves on quilts!
We love this quilt pattern because:
- A unique twist on classic piecing
- Pre-cut friendly (it calls for using fat quarters!)
- Endless opportunities to play with colour
- Looks intricate, but comes together in a satisfying way
A perfect project if you're in the mood to try something a little different—without overcomplicating the process

Sew + Tell: Lesley’s Twice Baked Quilt Blocks in Nest
We love when the right fabric meets the right pattern—and this pairing is too good!
With the soft, calming palette of Nest by Ghazal Razavi for FIGO and the playful structure of Holly Clarke’s Twice Baked pattern, everything just works. The simple, modern prints in Nest really shine in this design, letting the movement of the blocks take center stage.
And the best part? It’s as enjoyable to make as it is to look at.
Lesley has already started her Twice Baked quilt using this collection, and she couldn’t wait to share—she’s already completed three blocks in no time and said the pattern was easy to follow and really fun to piece together. Cannot wait to see it completed!

Our Pick a Petal Block of the Month was such a beautiful experience—and now you can enjoy it all at once.
Originally released as a 6-month template-based program, this project walks you through creating stunning floral blocks, one step at a time. And now, we have 2 complete kits available, so you can jump in and create the full quilt at your own pace.
This project is perfect for anyone who loves a more mindful, hands-on approach to quilting. Along the way, you’ll explore a variety of techniques, including:
- Appliqué for shaping each petal
- Hand stitching and embroidery details
- Template piecing
- Layering fabrics to create depth and texture
Each block is like its own little masterpiece, coming together into a truly special quilt.
