Local: Festival of Quilts at Heritage Park

This weekend is the Festival of Quilts at Heritage Park, here are the details:

Saturday, May 27th - Sunday, May 28th, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Location: Heritage Park Historical Village1900 Heritage Dr. SW, Calgary, AB T2V 2X3

If you are able to check it out, save your admission ticket and swing by our shop on Saturday & Monday (it’s only about 10mins away from the park), you will receive 15% off your purchase! Yahooo! What a special treat!

Exploding Heart Pattern is back on our shelves from designer, Slice of Pi Quilts. It takes us back to Mel’s background quilt sample a month ago! If you loved that, and have been thinking about it, it’s here!

Sun Flare by Then Came June is a lovely pattern that can play with mixing and matching. Suggestions include using large centre squares to highlight your favourite or large-scale prints and balancing them with tiny or solid prints. Looks like a fun and easy quilt pattern for anybody!
