Tip Tuesday - January 6, 2026 - Tana Lawn™ Love: 5 Sewing Tips

Tip Tuesday

Welcome to the first of a four-part Tip Tuesday, all about Liberty Tana Lawn™.

Inspired by our Liberty Advent Calendar, we wanted to share some practical tips and project ideas to help you feel confident actually using your Liberty — not saving it forever.

Liberty looks fancy, but it behaves beautifully, and with a few small adjustments, it becomes an absolute joy to sew.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing larger project ideas for fat 16ths and fat 8ths, plus smaller projects perfect for scraps.

If you’ve been nervous to cut into your Liberty… consider this your permission slip

Maker Spotlight - January 6, 2026 - Lesley's Butterfly Patch Cross Stitch Pattern by Lella Boutique

This week we’re sharing Lesley’s progress on the Butterfly Patch cross stitch pattern from @lellaboutique by Vanessa Goertzen — a simple, fun, and effective pattern!

Quilt blocks… but in cross stitch? Truly the best of both worlds. Lesley loves how these designs bring together quilting and hand stitching, and this butterfly 'block' is coming together beautifully, one stitch at a time.

Slow progress, cozy stitching, and tiny Xs doing the most
