Tip Tuesday: Tack It Easy!
We first saw Katie Dawson demonstrate Tack It Easy at Quilt Market, and it is such a clever little tool for English Paper Piecing!
Designed for glue basting, Tack It Easy holds your fabric and paper piece securely while you apply the glue and fold each edge. This means cleaner, more controlled folds, even edges and—best of all—no sticky fingers!
Simply place your fabric and paper piece into the tool, swipe your glue along the edge, fold and repeat. Each set includes eight hexagon sizes on a handy key ring, so they’re easy to keep together and ready for your next EPP project.
A simple tool that makes glue basting so much easier.

Brenda’s Colour My World Quilt, designed by Wendy Williams, is an incredible celebration of colour, architecture and creativity!
With its winding roads, bright little houses and detailed city skyline, there is something new to notice everywhere you look. Brenda made the quilt especially meaningful by adding her own personal touch to the skyline—the Calgary Tower!
