Upcoming Shop Closure
We’re excited to share that a shop renovation is underway at Out of Hand!
To make these exciting new changes happen, the shop will be closed on Monday, June 8 and Tuesday, June 9, while we take a couple of days to freshen things up behind the scenes.
We can’t wait to reveal what’s coming and share the updated space with you soon!
Our online shop will remain open during this time, and you’re still welcome to place orders online. Orders will begin shipping again on Wednesday, June 10, once everything has been organized and settled back into place.

We are absolutely smitten with these beautiful new Indian Block Prints from Fableism Supply Co.! Inspired by traditional Indian floral block prints and reimagined through Fableism’s soft cottage-core aesthetic, these fabrics feel timeless, relaxed, and effortlessly beautiful.

New: Petit Pan in Printed Poplin Cottons & Laminated Cottons
Also new in store are the absolutely adorable Petit Pan fabrics we discovered at H+H, and they are every bit as joyful and vibrant as you’d expect. Their cotton poplins are lightweight, smooth, and tightly woven with a crisp finish that makes them wonderful for garments, quilting, accessories, and children’s sewing projects. We’re especially loving their signature mix of neon brights paired with vintage-inspired florals and playful prints.
Petit Pan’s laminated cottons are equally fun and practical — featuring a soft cotton base with a protective laminated coating that makes them ideal for projects like lunch bags, pouches, tablecloths, rain hats, and easy-clean accessories. When sewing with laminated cottons, it’s best to use clips instead of pins, a longer stitch length, and a Teflon foot or tissue paper to help the fabric glide smoothly through your machine. For care, simply wipe clean with a damp cloth and avoid high heat or ironing directly on the laminated surface.
