Quilting 201: Next Steps - In Studio Class

Sunday, March 9 - 10:30am-4:30pm - all day sew day

For the beginner quilter looking to take the next step! In this class we will learn the skill of triangles, a four-patch, a split four-patch, a rail fence block and the nine-patch.
Pre-requisites: Must have basic knowledge of operating a sewing machine, including threading, setup, and basic sewing skills. Have experience with a few beginner-level projects and/or Quilting 101 class
Level: Advanced Beginner
Supply List:
- Cutting mat
- Rotary cutter
- Quilting ruler
- Fabric marking pencil or chalk
- Baggies or clips to keep your pieces organized
- Sewing machine in good working order (and your manual)
- Cotton thread
- Seam ripper
- Pins
- Scissors
- Any other items you have in your sewing kit
Fabric Requirements
- Fat Quarter friendly
- 6 Fat Quarters or 2 x 0.3m and 4 x 0.25m cut from yardage (see specifics below)
- 1.8 M Background fabric
- 1.2 M Border fabric
- .5 M Binding fabric
