Garden Party Pattern by Kellie Wulfsohn of Don't Look Now

This little quilt was originally made for my eldest daughter, Megan, for her 9th birthday. The simplicity of this design lends itself to being easily manipulated to create an altogether different scene allowing you endless design possibilities. Alternatively, the design could be used as the centre of a larger medallion quilt by adding additional borders. 

The applique is fused and recured using a machine blanket stitch. All of the stitching detail was achieved using a machine embroidery stitch. Alternatively, you could achieve a similar result using a free-motion stitch tracing over the line several times until you achieve the desired thickness.

130cm White Cotton
20cm Green Print
70cm Variety of Fabric scraps
135cm Backing Fabric
35cm Coordinating Stripe for binding
