This design is a modern variation on the classic Lone Star Quilt.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner - It requires cutting and sewing on a bias, sewing with a consistent 1/4" seam, and precision to match diamond points. The pattern includes tips on how to do this accurately. The diamonds in this pattern are large and there are minimal points to match so it is a good pattern for someone wanting to make their first star quilt.

There are 5 sizes in the quilt pattern:

Baby (39" x 39")

Throw (55" x 55"  and 60" x 65")

Bed (75" x 75" and 85" x 90")

There are no Y seams in this quilt pattern.
