Lesley’s Staff Pick

Some quilts are just extra fun to put together, and this Nova Star Quilt by Lesley is a perfect example. Every block was its own little design challenge—playing with contrast, balancing colours, and making each one feel unique while still tying the whole thing together. The end result? A quilt that feels dynamic and layered.

The fabrics are from Sharon Holland’s Tumbleweed collection for Art Gallery Fabrics, and they bring such a rich, earthy mood to this quilt. Deep rusts, soft peaches, dusty blues, and golden tones—it’s like a warm desert landscape at sunset. The whole thing has a vintage-meets-modern feel.
