Laundry scissors, branches and chrome blades. The branches are decorated with a pattern of balls and guillochage.

Like all quality scissors, these include pairing marks: before the steel is tempered, the two branches are perfectly adjusted for the first time to "make the pair". They are therefore identified, generally by a number, as being the two constituents of a precise pair of scissors. Here N° 1. They are then disassembled for quenching, which gives them their hardness, then straightened and readjusted. The pairing marks are located on the entablature of the scissors and therefore cannot be seen when they are closed.
