Make your own pumpkin patch with this easy to make, and versatile pattern.  It includes instructions for using pre-cut 5", or 10" squares, or fat quarters.  This would also be a great way to use up fall themed or colored scraps.  This quilt is beginner friendly, and measures 60" x 72".  This is a sister pattern to Brightly.

Diagonal Seam Tape is a huge time saver when making this pattern, highly recommend using it if you have it!
