A "precut" is fabric cut to a specific size shape and often sold as part of a collection so that the designs work well together for projects. There are many different sizes of specialty cuts, all based upon the most common cuts quilters use. They're great for beginning quilters, because they're easy to use – and they're perfect stash builders too.
