Maker Spotlight
Margaret’s Pick a Petal is an absolute celebration of colour, pattern, and beautiful handwork!
Designed by Jen Kingwell, this quilt features a wonderfully scrappy mix of pieced, curved, and appliquéd blocks, with so many charming details to discover. Margaret sewed every block by hand—except the log cabins—completed the appliqué by hand, assembled the quilt by machine, and then hand-quilted the entire piece.
And all that incredible work earned her a ribbon from the Canadian Quilters’ Association! A very well-deserved recognition for a truly spectacular quilt. Congratulations, Margaret!
