Classes: Ron Collins’ is Back

Ron Collins' back for May 2025 Classes at Out of Hand Quilting & Fabrics

Ron Collins is back in a week, and space is limited! We’re thrilled to welcome him back to the studio from May 9–14 for three garment-making workshops focused on developing essential sewing skills. There’s still room to join two of them!

Ron’s Fitting & Sewing Retreat - May 9, 10 & 12 - has one space left—this is a hands-on opportunity to refine your fit and sewing techniques in a supportive, skill-building environment.

Designer Construction Techniques - May 14 - still has space available. In this workshop, you’ll master curved patch pockets with flaps, create a luxe invisible patch pocket inspired by high-end tailoring, and explore a range of seam finishes including French, Hong Kong, bound, flat fell, and faux flat fell. You’ll even learn how to sew an innovative dart and pleat using just one thread!

Don’t miss your chance to learn from one of Canada’s top garment sewing instructors—we’d love to see you there!
