Something Blue Fabric Collection 2026 by Tilda

We’re so excited to introduce the Something Blue fabric collection by Tilda—a soft, romantic collection inspired by the timeless idea of “something blue” as a symbol of love, calm, and quiet beauty.

With its signature Scandinavian charm, this collection brings together delicate florals, gentle patterns, and a soothing palette of blues designed to feel both fresh and nostalgic. Tilda fabrics are known for their dreamy, artistic style and soft colour stories that effortlessly blend, making them perfect for quilts that feel thoughtful, layered, and full of personality.

Whether you’re planning a full quilt or just adding a few special pieces to your stash, Something Blue offers that perfect balance of elegance and creativity.

Available now:

  • Fabric Yardage from the collection + coordinating blender fabrics

  • Fat Quarter Bundles, Fabric Roll with 2.5" Strips. Fabric Stacks in 10" Squares and Charm Packs in 5" Squares featuring the full collection

  • Buttons in Dark and Light Colourways

  • Two beautiful quilt kits:

    • Sunny Sky Quilt Kit (light, airy, and fresh)

    • Ginger Jar Putty Quilt Kit (a soft, neutral-forward colourway)

This is one of those collections that truly shines when used together—or mixed into your favourites for a calm, cohesive look.

A quick and friendly pre-order shipping reminder:

To keep things smooth and timely, we recommend placing pre-orders in their own separate order. If you’d like in-stock items shipped right away, please order those separately. Orders that combine pre-order items with in-stock items will ship together once the pre-order arrives in June 2026, helping reduce extra shipping costs.

Tip: Why Rotating Mats Make Sense

Tip Wednesday - April 15, 2026 - Why Rotating Mats Make Sense

Another Week... Another Tip!

A rotating mat is one of those tools that can change how you cut. It’s not about doing more—it’s about things feeling a little more controlled, a little more comfortable, and a little more consistent. And if you’ve ever felt like you’re constantly turning your piece, your ruler, or yourself… this might be the shift you didn’t know you needed.

Already have one of these in your cutting tool kit? When do you reach for it the most?

Maker Spotlight

Maker Spotlight - April 15, 2026 - Kim's Compass Tote Class

This weekend’s Compass Bag class with Kim W had range—and her samples are proof. From clean and classic to full-on patchwork, she really leaned into how much this pattern can shift depending on your fabric choices (don’t miss the patchwork one).

It’s also one of those patterns Kim keeps coming back to, and once you see it in person, it makes sense. The slightly curved shape gives it a softer feel, the two size options make it easy to tailor to how you actually want to use it, and the interior pocket keeps essentials safe and sound.

The students in the class this weekend knocked their bags outta the park with their own unique combinations!
