New: Poppy Seed & Brie by Tilda Basics
These are the kind of fabrics that quietly become the backbone of your stash. The delicate, polka dots of Poppy Seed and the soft, ditsy floral look of Brie make them perfect blenders — adding depth, movement, and subtle interest without competing with your focal prints.

Sew + Tell: Upgrade Quilt Block
I’ve started a new project, and I’m so excited about this one.
I’m working on the Upgrade Quilt Pattern from Gathered by Jen Kingwell — and it feels like the perfect project to dive into in honour of QuiltCon, which is happening right now. There’s just something about all that creative energy in the quilting world that makes me want to start something fresh.
For this version, I’m mainly using Liberty Tana Lawn fabrics paired with chambray from Tilda — and oh my goodness… they are just so lovely together.
The softness and drape of the Tana Lawn mixed with the subtle texture of chambray creates this beautiful balance of delicate and grounded. It feels refined, but still cozy.
I’ll share more progress soon, but for now I’m fully enjoying the cutting, pairing, and that “new project” feeling that never gets old.

New: Soar by Katarina Roccella
The Soar collection was designed as a tribute to freedom, movement, and finding beauty in nature’s quiet moments. Katarina drew inspiration from open skies, wind-swept botanicals, and that peaceful feeling of looking outward and breathing deeply. The prints feel airy yet grounded — delicate birds in motion, flowing florals, and organic textures that give a sense of calm possibility.
When unpacking this collection, we were instantly inspired by how naturally the colours grouped themselves. So we curated two beautiful colourway bundles:
Canopy — lush, nature-rich tones with layered greens and grounded neutrals. It feels earthy, botanical, and fresh — like standing beneath treetops with light filtering through.
Fig — deeper, moodier tones with rich purples and complex hues. This bundle feels cozy, dramatic, and perfect for quilts with depth and contrast.
Both bundles are available as curated cuts (and yardage is available too if you’d like to mix across colourways).
New: Seedling by Katarina Roccella
We’re always looking for beautiful blenders with texture — and we will always have room for a good dot collection. Seedling is one of those quiet essentials that instantly earns a spot in your stash. The tiny dotted prints add subtle movement and depth, making them the perfect alternative to a flat solid. They create texture without distraction — exactly what you want when supporting a focal print or building a layered quilt.
Dots are one of our favourite ways to add visual interest while keeping everything cohesive. They soften transitions, enrich colour stories, and play so nicely with florals, geometrics, and modern prints alike.
To make things even easier, we’ve grouped this dotted, sifted palette into two curated bundles:
Solstice — light, airy tones with a fresh, luminous feel
Twilight — deeper, moodier shades that add richness and contrast

Knot Amazing in Tilda
Take a look at this beautiful quilt in the background, made by Kim M.! She used the fabrics Marilyn curated for our quilt kit, which is now available for pre-order — kits will be ready to shop in March.
This kit includes all the fabrics used for the top and binding (except backing fabric and batting) and features Tilda Basics in soft chambrays and playful dots. The design comes from the Gathered Book by Jen Kingwell, and templates are sold separately.
