OOH Classes
Here’s a list of our upcoming classes for the rest of the summer:
Finishing School with Edith
One session class
Dates: July 21 / August 11
Time: 10am-4pm
A time to finish those projects that are waiting to be completed. Bring your quilt projects to work on in a supportive and social setting. Come and get tips on your projects that are anywhere on their way to being finished with Edith. Dessert and tea will be provided. This class is available one Sunday per month.
Friday Frenzie
One session class
Date: August 2
Time: 10:30am-7pm
Come and spend eight uninterrupted hours working on old projects or starting something new. Pizza dinner will be served so all you have to do is clear your calendar and grab your projects! This class is available one Friday per month.
Marilyn's Sit & Stitch Class
One session class
Dates: August 6 / September 3 / October 1
Times: 10:30am-1:30pm
Having trouble with your embellishment stitches on Chirp or another Sue Spargo project? Is there an embroidery stitch you just can't master? Or just need to get caught up on a block of the month? Bring any applique, embroidery, or embellishment project to work on, our own Marilyn Carter will be there to offer advice, review stitches and discuss "design opportunities".
Weeklong Studio
One week class
Dates: August 14-16
Times: Wednesday 11am-4:30pm / Thursday 11am-4:30pm / Friday 11am-7pm
These three days of independent study are the perfect opportunity for you to finish up your ongoing projects or perhaps start a few new ones! The hope is that this will provide you with the space and time to stitch, stitch, stitch. Friday night dinner will be provided, but for the rest of the week meals are on your own.
Quilting 101
Three-day class
Tuesday, September 10 - 7:00-9:00pm
Saturday, September 14 - 8:30am-4:30pm
Saturday, September 21 - 8:30am-4:30pm
We are fortunate to again have Edith Koprek to guide beginning quilters (and rusty ones!) through the quilting process from start to finish! This is the perfect opportunity to make a little something special for your home or as a gift.
OOH Class Requests
This fall session is just around the corner and it’s always a great way to start something new! Has there been a technique OR project that you’ve been itching to learn but don’t know where to start? Or just want to sew together with like-minded people?
Send us your project suggestions and what days work best for you and we can try to make it happen. We appreciate all the feedback you share with us!
