There are 3 types of cotton threads we have in stock: Braided Cotton / #3 Perle Cotton / Single Stranded Soft Cotton.
They are available in a few colourways in each type. Feel free to play around with texture and colour with your embellishment techniques!

Q: What sewing machine did you buy?
A - Lesley: Brother PQ-1500SL
Q: Are you Hiring?
A - Jamie: Not currently
Q: How do find time to manage social media?
A - Jamie: Lesley was hired for the social media position before the transition and she was inherited by the store and we kept her! Trying to balance work and family life is the way to go. Knowing your boundaries and sharing the work with others
Q: When using a lot of fray check on the main seam - ie) the lonestar quilt - any tips or challenges on a domestic machine?
A - Jamie: You might want to test it first on some scrap and try running it on your machine
Q: What are popular patterns/styles for quilting?
A - Jamie: Hard question because we have a lot of different talents that it's hard to select the most popular styles, which is why we have a huge array of quilt patterns
Q: Highest High / Most Challenging things when owning a quilt shop?
A - Jamie: Highest High: picking fabrics and getting customers excited to make their projects - helping people come in, and getting excited about a project again is probably the most rewarding.
Most Challenging: when starting the business, it was hard to set boundaries and not be able to be with family. It's a work in progress
